How to: Open files of previous Excel versions.
Solution:
Select 'Open...' from the 'File' menu, specify the location of the file, select the file, and click 'Open'.
NOTE: When opened in Excel 7.0, an Excel 5.0 workbook is converted to an Excel 7.0 workbook. The converted workbook remains the same as the original workbook. An Excel 4.0 worksheet is converted to an Excel 7.0 workbook with a single worksheet, and both the converted worksheet and workbook have the name of an original worksheet.
